Whacky Races

Few things rile me. However, you car drivers really make my blood boil.

"We pay too much to drive"… "The government are targeting us"… "We’re the ones being punished"…

Erm yes…? That is the point. In general, you are selfish, you are lazy, you can’t consider those beyond the metal frame of your vehicle. You complain about the cost of driving, yet you don’t consider taking the vast alternatives. You are killing our Earth, no matter how significant you think your contribution is. You are that damned stupid.

The government are quite within their rights to take every penny you have. If you are thick enough to let them, then all credit to them. Might as well take your hard earned cash and waste it elsewhere.

Let me put your idiocy in context. Would you pay a million quid to buy a bigger house? Well why not? You pay for an expensive luxury that is not financially viable or even necessary.

Car drivers must be thick.

I know this comment has totally nothing to do with the blog title.

But how come you aint written a blog about The Police getting back together and announced their tour?

  2. Steve says:

Because their “World Tour” is like the baseball “World Series” – it hasn’t managed to find its way beyond North America…

  3. XShellX says:

What about people who have no choice but to use a car?

My hubby goes out to work at 4.45 The buses don’t start to run that way until 6, if he had to walk he would have to start out at out at 3.30, we know this because he walked to work once.

Shopping, have you ever tried to bring home 5 or 6 shopping bags on the buse?

Now I can see were you are coming from, some people could walk or take buses/trains, but you havd to addmit that in this day and age sometimes you have to use a car.
Traveling by air causes more damage, but would you give up your holidays to wonderful new places?

I accept that for some people, cars are more necessary. However, we haven’t a had a car in the family for well over ten years. And we used to do that monthly shop (we couldn’t bear doing it more often) with a two mile trek to the nearest supermarket. But we did it.

Now we use the supermarket’s delivery services.

There are a lot of people that should remember: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
